How to get Health Insurance?

You can get personal help for getting health insurance by calling the Columbia County Community Healthcare Consortium’s Navigator program at (518) 822-9600.

Navigators at the Healthcare Consortium can assist individuals and families in Columbia and Greene Counties with shopping for, comparing, and enrolling in quality, affordable health insurance, including the public health insurance programs (Medicaid, Child Health Plus and the Essential Plan) and commercial health insurance plans (e.g. MVP, CDPHP, United Healthcare, etc.), through the New York State of Health: the Official Health Plan Marketplace. Navigators can also assist with applying for financial assistance to help pay for coverage. Navigator services are supported by the New York State Department of Health and are provided at no charge. For questions or to schedule an appointment, please call the Healthcare Consortium at (518) 822-9600 or visit http://www.columbiahealthnet.org/programs/navigator/.
