Columbia Memorial Hospital provides counseling and education to clients on how to self-manage their diabetes successfully.
The Diabetes Take Charge Program offers diabetes education by a certified diabetic educator. The program educators worked with physicians to coordinate a presentation on diabetes. In addition, the hospital actively participates in the Diabetes Coalition of the Greater Capitol Region.
